This policy explains how Road Commune 公路公社 (“Road Commune”, “we”) handles your personal information.
What we collect
When you book or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone number, passport nationality, the names of the people traveling with you, and anything you choose to tell us, such as dietary needs. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, and we never receive or store your card details.
Why we use it
We use your information to arrange and operate your trip (hotels, transport, permits and insurance), to contact you about your booking, and to meet legal obligations in China, such as hotel guest registration. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share it only with the suppliers needed for your trip (hotels, camps, transport partners and insurers) and with our payment and email service providers.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and travel-agency purposes. Inquiries are deleted after 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@roadcommune.cn.
